The dark knight detective himself, Batman. I redesigned him as well. This is the 23 year old Bruce, he becomes more bulkier when he is in his mid 50s (Frank Miller).I took a more technological and armored approach. Yes, his eyes do glow, only because it is scary in any situation.
I also took the shoulder spikes from the Arkham Asylum graphic novel.
All his gadgets and gear are in special compartments on his back, some are even on the inside of his cape.
Speaking of which, his cape has the same ability, forming the shape it's wire skeleton allows it (from Nolan's movies). Except the cape is much larger and has two magnetic spots on each side which firmly attach to his wrists that allows Bruce to flap his "wings". This combined with the fact that Bruce is 23 years of age so he's lighter then the 50 year old Bruce, allows him by using his "wings", actually fly when there are no obstacles around (thank you Icarus). It can also be used as a parashoot to soften the landings and for gliding.
Please comment. I'm interested what yall think about him, both visually and his new "features".
Though I think you could have done without the spikes, the lean physique, and the sunken cheeks but this is pretty damn good, all in all. However, you should break out of this "red, black, and starved" phase of yours soon, `cause your deviations are starting to look too similar.
I have a small challenge for you: draw up a nice, happy, non-scary pig bouncing across a nice grassy meadow with the beaming sun and the blue sky overhead. No scary, angry, or overly weird things.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
